How to create a Solana memecoin (no code)

A step-by-step guide to launching your own Solana token: what you need, what it costs, and what happens after it goes live.

What you need

Step 1 — Connect your wallet

Open Create Coin and connect your wallet. You stay in control the whole time: MemeLaunch never holds your keys or your funds, and you approve every transaction yourself.

Step 2 — Name it and add a logo

Pick a name and ticker that are your own — copying an existing coin confuses buyers. Upload a logo (any image: PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF or iPhone HEIC). Your logo, description and links are stored on IPFS and linked to the token on-chain, so wallets and explorers can show them.

Out of ideas? The ✨ Generate button reads what's trending on Solana and drafts an original name, ticker and logo for you.

Step 3 — Optional dev buy

You can buy some of your own coin in the same transaction. A dev buy is the coin's very first trade, so it pays the launch fee of about 5% instead of the usual 1% (this anti-sniper fee protects every new coin for its first ~2 minutes). Buyers can see creator buys and sells on the coin page — be upfront about it.

Step 4 — Sign once, and it's live

Hit Create and approve in your wallet. Your coin goes live on a bonding curve immediately and appears on the Trending page and in the trading terminal. It also gets an automatic launch post in the MemeLaunch Telegram channel.

What every MemeLaunch coin gets automatically

After launch: getting your first buyers

A coin nobody knows about doesn't move. Share your coin page link (it shows your logo and name as a preview on X and Telegram), post honest updates from your coin page, and ask people to tap 🔔 Telegram alerts to follow your milestones. Avoid fake volume or paid "pumps" — they get spotted, and buyers leave.

Common questions

How much does it cost to create a Solana memecoin on MemeLaunch?

MemeLaunch charges $0 to launch. You only pay Solana's own rent and network fees — roughly 0.02 SOL.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You fill in a name, ticker and logo, connect a wallet and sign one transaction.

Can I change my coin's supply or decimals?

No — each coin's supply is fixed when it launches (1 billion by default, or a number the creator picks between 1 million and 1 trillion) and the mint is revoked, so more can never be created. That is a safety feature buyers look for.

How do I earn from my coin?

Each trade pays a 1% fee and 0.4% of every trade goes to the creator. You claim it from the My Coins page whenever you like.

Memecoins are extremely risky — most go to zero. Nothing here is financial advice. Read the risk disclosure.
