1. We don't collect personal information
MemeLaunch has no user accounts, no registration and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address or identity documents, and we do not knowingly hold any of it.
2. Your wallet
When you connect a wallet, the site can see your public wallet address — the same address that is already public on the blockchain. We use it only to show your balances, your coins and your earnings, and to build the transactions you sign. We never see, receive, request or store your private keys or seed phrase, and we never take custody of your funds.
3. What is stored in your own browser
We use your browser's local storage for your own convenience — this data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and is not used for tracking:
- which wallet you last connected (so you stay connected between pages), and whether you chose to disconnect;
- the wallet addresses you added to your Smart Money watchlist.
You can erase all of it any time by clearing site data in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to count visits, as section 5 explains.
4. Information you publish yourself
If you add a logo, description, or social links when creating a coin, that content is uploaded to IPFS (a public, distributed file network, via the Pinata service) and referenced by your token on-chain. This is how wallets and explorers display your coin. Anything you submit this way is public and effectively permanent — it can be copied by others and generally cannot be deleted. Do not include personal or sensitive information in it.
Coin chat. Each coin page has a public chat. When you post a message or report one, we store — on our host's server storage — your public wallet address, the message text, a timestamp, and report counts, so the conversation stays visible to other visitors. Only the most recent messages per coin are kept (roughly the last 150); older ones drop off. Everything posted there is public and tied to your wallet address — do not post personal or sensitive information, and never post a private key or seed phrase. To ask us to remove a specific message, reach us through the channels on the Support page.
5. Technical data
Like any website, our host (Netlify) automatically processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and requested pages, in order to serve the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Our metadata-upload, image-conversion and concept-generation functions briefly keep a count of recent requests per IP address, in memory only, purely to rate-limit abuse; that count is not stored long-term, not linked to a person, and not used for any other purpose. (Coin-chat posts are stored separately, as described in section 4.)
Visit statistics. We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly
where visitors are (country and city, worked out from the IP address, which Google does not store), the
device and browser, and how people arrived (for example from a search or a link). It does not receive your
wallet address, your coins or anything you type. We use it only to see what is used and improve the site:
not for advertising, and we do not sell it. Google keeps this data for 2 months. It sets cookies named
_ga to recognise a returning browser; visitors in the EU, the UK and Switzerland are counted
without these cookies. To opt out everywhere, block cookies for this site, use a content blocker, or install
Google's Analytics opt-out
add-on.
6. Third parties we rely on
Using the Service necessarily involves other services, each with their own privacy practices:
- Netlify — website hosting;
- Google Analytics — counting visits (section 5);
- Solana RPC providers (including Helius) — to read blockchain data and send your transactions;
- Meteora programs on Solana — the launch and trading protocol;
- Pinata / IPFS — storage for coin logos and metadata;
- Dexscreener — public market data for the trending lists;
- Wikimedia Commons — searched for a freely-licensed photo when you use ✨ Generate;
- Anthropic — if enabled, writes the coin concept when you use ✨ Generate (it receives only the trending coin names, never anything about you);
- Your wallet provider (e.g. Phantom, Solflare, Backpack).
When your browser contacts these services it necessarily shares your IP address with them. We do not control how they process it, and we recommend reading their policies.
7. The blockchain is public
Every coin you launch and every trade you make is recorded on Solana's public ledger, permanently and pseudonymously. Anyone can view, copy and analyse it — including linking activity to your wallet address. We cannot edit, hide or delete blockchain records, and neither can anyone else.
8. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Your rights
Because we don't hold personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to export or erase. If you believe we hold information about you — for example a coin-chat message you want removed — email memelaunchs@gmail.com and we will reply within 1–2 business days, in line with applicable data-protection law (including the GDPR/UK GDPR where relevant).
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
